Preaching at Revival Today Youth
About Benjamin Battaglini

Benjamin Battaglini is a student at Revival Today Bible Institute in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In July of 2022, he attended Revival Today Church for the first time during 40 Days of Glory. That night, the call of God was ignited in his life. He was baptized with the Holy Ghost and has not been the same since.

Before Bible school, Benjamin served in the U.S. Army National Guard as a Combat Medic. He graduated in March 2024. At What No Eye Has Seen 2023, Evangelist Ted Shuttlesworth Sr. called him out and declared: "You passed the test — therefore you shall preach the Gospel."

MINISTRY

The Call to Ministry

Growing up, I had always wanted to be a part of the military. One of my high school friends went to basic training the summer before I graduated. When he came back, I was persuaded to join and do it myself. In March of 2023, I signed a contract with the Army National Guard. I still had the feeling inside of me to tell people about the Bible, but I was not yet mature enough in my faith to discern that calling.

Going into What No Eye Has Seen 2023, I had a big question on my mind: "Did I erase the call of God on my life by joining the National Guard?" But the Holy Ghost knew that I was wrestling with it. During the Saturday morning service, Evangelist Ted Shuttlesworth Sr. was ministering. He looked at me and said, "Young man, you passed the test; therefore, you shall preach the Gospel." At that moment, I felt such peace and reassurance that I had the call of God on my life.

Two months later, in August of 2023, I shipped out to Oklahoma for Basic Training, and then to San Antonio in November for Combat Medic School. The hand of God was with me through all of it. There were guys who never had peace and never had joy, but I did — because I knew that God was working all things together for my good. I still read my Bible every day.

In March of 2024, I graduated and came home. As soon as I got off the plane in Pittsburgh, I knew my next step was to attend RTBI. I was overwhelmed with the zeal for full-time ministry. I started helping with outreaches every Saturday, then I took the step to apply to Bible school. From applying until now, none of it has ever been hard or tiring. The zeal has not shrunk — it has only gotten hotter and stronger.

BELIEVING
BEFORE
SEEING
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." — Hebrews 11:1
"For we walk by faith, not by sight." — 2 Corinthians 5:7
"Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed." — John 20:29
Three Keys to Believing Before Seeing
Before you ever see an answer to prayer, you must believe that you have received it. Mark 11:24 says, "Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them." Jesus said that we would pray, believe, then receive. He did not say pray, receive, and then believe. Before you receive, you must first believe.
1.
Your heart must believe before you receive.
Romans 4:16–21
Abraham believed God when there was nothing in the natural to support what God had promised him. He did not look at his own body — now dead — or at the deadness of Sarah's womb. He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strong in faith, giving glory to God. Before you will ever see it in the natural, your heart has to be fully persuaded that God is able to perform what He has promised.
2.
Your words must believe before you receive.
Genesis 17:1–5
God changed Abram's name to Abraham, which means "father of many nations," before he had a single child. Every time someone called his name, they were confessing the promise of God over his life. God is not moved by your situation — He is moved by your faith. What are you saying about what God has promised you? Your words are either agreeing with the promise or agreeing with the problem.
3.
Your actions must believe before you receive.
James 2:14–22  •  John 2
At the wedding in Cana, Jesus told the servants to fill the pots with water. They did not fill them halfway — they filled them to the brim. They acted in faith before they saw the miracle. Real faith will produce real action. I am not going to wait until I feel it. I am going to believe that I am receiving an encounter with God and act accordingly.

A Word for You
GOD WILL OPEN
DOORS FOR YOU

The same God who opened these doors for me is no respecter of persons. He does not do it for one and withhold it from another — He responds to faith. Whatever He has called you to do, He will make a way. Stay faithful. Stay obedient. The doors are already prepared — you just have to walk through them.

"I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut."
Revelation 3:8
"Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you."
Matthew 7:7
"Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart."
Psalm 37:4

God is not partial. What He did for me, He will do for you.

Praying for people in Tamarindo
Latin America Vision
Everyone Must Hear

God has placed a great burden on my heart for the people of Latin America. From the northern border of Mexico all the way to the southernmost point of Chile, from the eastern seaboard of Brazil to the Baja Peninsula, including the Caribbean islands and the small nations of Central America — they are all filled with people who God does not will to perish.

Did you know that from 2021 to now, over 25 million people have crossed from Mexico into the United States? The harvest is so ripe that the people are coming to us. Those people are coming to the United States for a new life through the American Dream, but there is a new life that we are tasked to tell them about, and that new life is through Jesus Christ.

The majority of Latin American countries have deep roots in Catholicism, and every single country needs the fire and power of God. I have a vision to hold mass crusades at the southern border, and then take that to the nations of Latin America.

"Whatever God cannot do, let it remain undone. Whatever God cannot give me, may I never have it. Wherever God cannot take me to, may I never get there."
— Bishop David Oyedepo

What's Next
The Next Step
01
Serving at Revival Today Youth

God has opened up for me a special opportunity to serve in Revival Today Youth for the next year. This is not a detour from the call — it is a preparation for it. Every great man of God in Scripture first served another before stepping into the fullness of their own calling.

Biblical Examples of Serving Another Man's Ministry
Elisha served Elijah
Joshua served Moses
Timothy served Paul
The Apostles served Jesus
02
Crusades — Especially Near the Southern Border

The harvest is not waiting. God has already ordained the places — it is time to go. We have held crusades in Akron, Youngstown, and Newton Falls. The next frontier is the southern United States, beginning with cities where the nations are already gathering.

Online Ministry — Reaching the World Digitally

The internet is one of the greatest mission fields in history. My vision is to use every available platform — Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and beyond — to preach the Word of God and see people come to salvation without ever leaving their home.
